Jay Pond

My name is Jay Pond and I am an artist and co-owner of TwoTurtles Gallery. I strive to have my art provoke political dialogue around issues of equality and non-violence. I consider myself an Artist Provocateur. My most current sculpture in bronze, stone, or sunflower head reflect this style.

By fusing politics into a sculpture I'm finding clarity in the expression of my own core values. My recent bronze sculptures are meant as challenges to the predominate institutions in our society on the issues of gay marriage, war, and corporate control of our financial and health care systems.

Besides sculpture my body of work includes video, performance art, and photography.
